Clare Walker Consultancy delivers Freedom Programme facilitator training across the UK. We asked delegates: What would you tell a friend or a colleague about this training? This is what Dorchester had to say in September 2017…

Very informative and thought provoking, facilitated in a fun, safe and interactive way. Everyone should know this information, thank you!

That it is very worth while and informative. Helps prepare you for working with victims of DA.

That this is a difficult kind of training. That it is delivering a support group to enable women to identify abuse in their lives. That it’s a relaxed group discussions for all to take part. Easy to understand, and very interactive. There is some very interesting parts too!

The Freedom Programme is a really useful tool in heping women identify the tactics of an abuser. I highly recommend this training! The facilitator was really skilled and knowledgeable about her subject.

I would say Clare is an inspiration and has given a wealth of knowledge of the subject. It has been a ‘hard’ topic to cover, but one that is so important- I would definitely want to do more and learn more and would advise ALL front line staff complete this training.

It had several lightbulb moments for me on a personal level. It was informative, enjoyable and made an awful subject almost enjoyable.

The programme itself is very thorough and identifies there are a range of types of abuse and will help women to understand that all partners can present differently in terms of abuse.

Empowering course for all women and men to attend it challenges behaviour and beliefs. It shows us where our views are enforced by culture, history and society. It challenges to empower and educate others to improve their own situations, question their personal situations, question their relationships and the beliefs and values we pass on to our children.

Excellent course, heavy subject but able to have a giggle when appropriate. Really interesting to hear Clare’s experiences shared by other women nd victims of DA. Raises awareness and empowers and educates women to live the life they wants and deserve.

Supportive and thought provoking training, it challenges your thoughts and beliefs, then encourages you to address them as a group –‘we’. Clare is extremely knowledgeable and shares very useful resources. This is the only training ive attended and not felt like I was going to fall asleep! It was so motivating, inspirational and non-judgemental.
